JURA ENERGY CORPORATIONJura Energy Corporation is an international energy company engaged in the exploration, development and production of petroleum and natural gas with activities conducted exclusively in Pakistan. Jura conducts its business in Pakistan through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Frontier Holdings Limited. Frontier Holdings Limited has interests in seven exploration and development projects. The seven interests cover a total area of 1,287,548 gross acres, with four interests being located in the Central Gas Basin, two interests in the Lower Indus Oil and Gas Basin and one in the northern Potwar Basin. The work program associated with these interests initially called for the shooting of approximately 800 kms of 2D seismic; to date, 1600+ kms of 2D seismic has been acquired and an additional 1606 km2 of 3D data covering the Badin IV blocks has been purchased. The work program also calls for the drilling of 7 exploration wells and 14 development wells. Jura's head office is located in Calgary, Alberta with branch offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Islamabad, Pakistan. Jura is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange trading under the symbol JEC.
