JURA ENERGY CORPORATIONJura Energy Corporation is an international energy company engaged in the exploration and development of petroleum and natural gas with activities conducted exclusively in Pakistan. Jura conducts its business in Pakistan through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Frontier Holdings Limited. Frontier Holdings Limited has interests in six exploration and development projects. The six interests cover a total area of 995,424 gross acres, with four interests being located in the Central Gas Basin and two interests in the Lower Indus Oil and Gas Basin. The work program associated with these interests initially called for the shooting of approximately 800 kilometers of 2D seismic; to date, 1,731 kilometers of 2D seismic has been acquired, 6,594 kilometers of 2D seismic has been purchased and an additional 1,606 square kilometers of 3D data covering the Badin IV blocks has been purchased. The remaining work program calls for the drilling of seven exploration wells and fourteen development wells. Jura's head office is located in Calgary, Alberta with branch offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Islamabad, Pakistan. Jura is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange trading under the symbol JEC.
